Bomb attack hits central Syrian capital
June 28 - A strong bomb explosion has rocked the Syrian capital, targeting the country’s Justice Ministry offices in Damascus, the Syrian state news agency reports.

The incident occurred on Thursday when a massive car bomb detonated in a parking lot belonging to the Palace of Justice in central Damascus, SANA said.

Black smoke was seen rising from the building at al-Marjeh, an area which houses several court-rooms and government buildings.

The terrorist attack reportedly left three people wounded and damaged up to 20 of the cars in the parking.

A fire broke out after the gas tank of another car near the explosive-laden vehicle went off, with the flames engulfing the surrounding cars at the site.

On June 27, three staff members of the Al-Ikhbariya satellite TV channel and four guards were killed in a terrorist attack that hit the headquarters of the television in the capital.
