Zoom Los Angeles: Stop SB1070! No more deportations! Saturday, July 28 - 10 am - Placita Olvera July 28th will be a National Day of Actions against SB1070. In Los Angeles, all of the organizations that are part of the Southern CA Immigration Coalition are organizing this action to stand with our brothers and sisters in Arizona! We know that the battle is tough but we have your back and just like you, we are NOT backing down! Just like in AZ, we here in CA believe that “Esta es mi tierra, esta es mi lucha!” We call on organizers in all cities to also organize actions to not only support the gente in AZ but also to build a stronger organizational base in your community. At the LA action we will gather at the Placita Olvera, march down to the Downtown LA Federal Building where we will have a rally. We will then march around the building and end the rally at the ICE Detention Center on Alameda.We hope that you can join us and help us spread the word about this action.
