Do you guys actually support Sendero Luminoso?

I have many ideological differences with the Communist Party of Peru - Sendero Luminoso (PCP-SL), at least as it existed during the period of the people’s war from approximately 1980-1996. It’s not entirely clear how that ideology has changed in the revamped Sendero, though from statements I have read, they seem less sectarian than during Gonzalo’s leadership.

With that said — I did and I do support Sendero’s revolutionary struggle against imperialism and the Peruvian neo-colonial regime, whether the fascist Fujimori or the “left-center” Humala is at the helm.
