Zoom "September 9, 1980 issue was the last Black Panther newspaper. Over 500 issues from 1967-1980. The last issue is a collectors item, just as valuable as the first issues. The BPP newspaper in the late 1970s were hard to find. If you didn’t live in the Bay area, the only way was by mail. There were no Panthers standing on corners in the late 1970s.”
