Baltimore, Maryland: Protest in solidarity with low-wage workers and to demand a $15 minimum wage, October 24, 2013.
From Sharon Black: “Today surpassed our expectations. Great turnout and even greater enthusiasm. Workers really appreciated the thank-you cards we handed out. The management at McDonald’s went nuts and had to people stationed as ‘enforcers’ — literally written on their shirts — to deal with protesters. But we were able to successfully give workers their thank-you” cards.
