On May 2, neo-Nazi gangs unleashed by the U.S.-backed coup in Kiev murdered 46 anti-fascists in Odessa. They set fire to the Trade Union House, where many died in an inferno. Others were beaten to death or shot as they tried to escape the blaze.
Dozens of unarmed protesters in the southeastern Ukraine cities of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk have been killed in the junta’s latest cowardly “anti-terrorist” offensive.
The U.S. government is pushing these attacks as it mobilizes for war against Russia. The corporate media lie about the causes of the violence and cover up Washington and Wall Street’s role.
In response to a call for international solidarity actions by the Ukrainian anti-fascist organization Union Borotba (Struggle), whose own members were among those killed and injured in Odessa, we call on New Yorkers to come out to say:
FASCISM WILL NOT PASS!
No new U.S. war!
Hands off the anti-fascist resistance in Ukraine!
Bring signs, flowers and solidarity.
